Some of the software found in the directory hierarchy under /pub/cpc/ADATE is
copyrighted. When known, the copyright owner/author is shown.

The intententions of this software collection:

- to preserve Amstrad software (cassette, tape, cartridge and rom), in a emulator
  file format which can represent the original closely.
  a) to preserve the original loading sequence and scheme
  b) to preserve the original in a unmodified form; the software is as the 
     publisher/developer intended

- to support the .cdt/.tzx tape image file format (a file format which can 
  represent the audio signal from a cassette; therefore allowing cassette software
  to be accuratly archived)

- to document the programs that are available for the Amstrad CPC

- to acknowledge the copyright owner and give details of the developer
  and publisher. 

- to make it possible to see the credits of the title (programmer, artist, musician
  producer etc)

- to do this in a free way. I do not make any money from this archive; and I do
  not encourage others to do so either.

- for nostalgia

To my knowledge none of this software is commercially available now. 
I hope that the copyright owner does not mind that these titles are available for these
reasons. 

However, if you are one of the copyright owners (or you can speak for one) and 
you do not  want your software available here, please, send me an email and the 
software will be removed from the site.

Or, if you can give us permission to distribute you titles, then all the better!
