Well, here it is. My first authentic 100% gus file. Wrote the whole thing 
from beginning to end on a GUS. No cheating.

Kind of got a bit long along the way. 5 mins - pretty self indulgent, huh?
Couldn't bring myself to chop off the voice solo, though. (Couldn't think 
of a proper ending either).

Anyway, uses just about every trick in the book to try and soup up the sound
of your GUS. (Fake echo, chorus, reverb, and lots of stereo FX).  

By the way, any timing problems have nothing to do with the file. I checked. 
Seems the windows midi drivers occasionally hiccup. Playmidi is a little
less likely to cough, but it cuts the notes a bit shorter than windows does.
To be fair, there's a lot of unnecessary controller messages in there, but I
really don't feel like getting rid of them just to see if they fix a few 
little glitches in the timing. (Did some and it didn't make much difference).

Anyway, I'll hand you over to the music ... it's kind of an atmospheric latin
dance track with a jazzy influence (!?!?).
