New people are welcome to join the fantasy committee, just mail a note
of intent (which may contain an ordinance proposal.)

You have until GMT Jun 9 14:00 (2PM) = NOMIC TIME Jun 10 00:00 to mail
your
first fantasy ordinance for the 7th round. (Though it may be hard to
make any valid ones :-)

The current valid FR ordinances are:

Richard Chatham's ordinance of GMT Jun 2 15:56:24:
7001
All subsequent fantasy rules must be shorter than any other valid rule
posted in the current round. For the purposes of this rule, "shorter"
means "has fewer characters".
Score:2

Dave's ordinance of GMT Jun 2 20:23:48:
7002
"Don't use the word 'nim.'"
Score:1

Chatham's ordinance of GMT Jun 3 13:29:29:
7003
"Rules make sense."
Score:1

Dave's ordinance of GMT Jun 4 19:44:20:
7005
"BE YOU"
Score:0 (No fun destroying the game by brute force, at least
not in this way)

Chatham's ordinance of GMT Jun 5 16:08:53:
7006
Win!
Score:1 (Just for still being able to make a legal ordinance :-)

Dave's proposal of GMT Jun 6 21:27:13:
7007
B
Score:2 (As he didn't write "be", he probably got the victory
this time. I, in my infinite liberality, accept "B" as a useful
acronym for "Be".)
As to why it's legal: It is the shortest possible sensible rule
and must therefore, by 7001 and 7003, win. So it satisfies 7006.

dmb's proposal, 7004 I deemed invalid.

I am NOT going to accept the empty proposal. Zen doesn't make
sense. (Though I was tempted after reading Dave's letter.)
Dave is in my view the winner of round 7, though I see no
provision in the rules for declaring him so until Chatham becomes
non-illegible.
